“Affairs” in order with Christopher Gorham

Chris has a new project in the works! He is set to be in an upcoming series Covert Affairs alongisde Piper Perabo and Anne Dudek.

Christopher Gorham has been tapped to star opposite Piper Perabo in USA Network’s spy thriller “Covert Affairs.”

The casting is believed to lift the contingency on the pilot.

Written by Matt Corman and Chris Ord, “Affairs” centers on Annie Walker (Perabo), a multilingual CIA trainee who joins the agency still reeling over a mysterious ex-boyfriend who appears to be of particular interest to her bosses.

Gorham will play Auggie Anderson, a CIA military intelligence/special-ops agent blinded years ago on an assignment who is helping Walker navigate her new job.

Instead of giving “Affairs” a straight pilot order, USA last month hired a casting director and began quietly casting the two leads.

With Perabo and Gorham in place, an official green light is considered imminent.

Three cast in indie ‘Trivial Pursuits’

According to Hollywood Reporter, Chris has a new project in the works!

Christopher Gorham, Arielle Kebbel and Chris Parnell are starring in indie comedy “Trivial Pursuits,” written and directed by Christopher Farah. Brother Mike Farah is producing.

Set in the world of competitive bar trivia, the script centers on frustrated academics who finally get a chance at beer, women and nerdy redemption when they enter a citywide trivia tournament. Gorham and Kebbel are the love interests.

The movie just began shooting in Ann Arbor, Mich., of which the Farahs are natives.

Actor Christopher Gorham ponders an island mystery on CBS

Hello everyone,

Screen caps for the latest episode of Harper’s Island will be up soon! In the meantime, here’s an interesting article on Chris!

Christopher Gorham wasn’t sure he wanted to get lost on “Harper’s Island.”

The CBS series is a horror/mystery/thriller that melds “Survivor,” “Ten Little Indians” and “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” It follows 20-plus characters who arrive on the titular island – a predictably remote and inaccessible one – for the wedding of Henry (Gorham) and his longtime girlfriend Trish (Katie Cassidy), only to have the guests and locals start getting offed one by one, possibly by the same murderer who had terrorized the island years earlier.

The series runs 13 episodes, with a beginning, a middle and an end – and lots of sex, death and gore.

“Like a lot of people when they first hear about it, I was a little confused about how it was going to work,” Gorham said. “So I actually had a conversation with the producer, Jeff Bell, before I went in to audition, to clue me in to exactly what was happening. Also, because it was shooting in Vancouver, I didn’t want to get locked into doing a series up there, because I have kids and I don’t want to have to move up there.

“But I had a great conversation with Jeff. It was very early on in the process, and essentially what he told me was that you have to think of it more like ‘Survivor’ than ‘Lost.’ And, like ‘Survivor,’ if it continues, the cast will change every year, the story will change every year. The only things that would stay the same are the name, ‘Harper’s,’ and the format. It would be another, but different, 13-episode murder mystery.”

Christopher Gorham back on Ugly Betty!

Hello visitors,

First of all, I’m sorry that I haven’t got the chance to update the gallery with screen captures from the latest episode of Harper’s Island, but I was down with the flu. Anyway, to make things up for that, here’s some good news! According to EW’s Ausiello, Chris will be back on Ugly Betty for the two-hour season finale!

This could get ugly.

Christopher Gorham has closed a deal to reprise his role as Betty’s ex-love Henry, setting the stage for a geektastic showdown with her current beau, Matt (Daniel Eric Gold).

Ugly Betty creator Silvio Horta confirms to me exclusively that Gorham — who’s currently trying to stay alive on CBS’ Harper’s Island — will reappear in the show’s two-hour season finale on May 21 when Betty runs into Henry and his new girlfriend Chloe (played by Gossip Girl’s Dream Walker) in the Big Apple. To prove to themselves that they’ve moved on, Betty and Henry agree to go on a double date to a Mets game with their respective significant others. Good times, right? Not exactly…

“As Henry and Betty reconnect, it could potentially threaten her relationship with Matt,” teases Horta, who adds that he’s “really happy” to have Gorham back in the fold. “Chris has always been, and will always be, part of the Ugly Betty family.”

And Island of One, Christopher Gorham

Here’s a very short but interesting interview with Chris on his upcoming Harper’s Island!

A boatful of beautiful people is headed to scenic Harper’s Island, where Henry and Trish, the also-beautiful perfect couple, are soon to be wed. Liquor flows; everyone is ready to celebrate. Or are they? What sounds like an introduction to any other boring ship-wreck or exotic monster movie is actually the set up to a genuine murder mystery program, the likes of which America has rarely seen. The 13-episode series takes cues from British programming by creating an entirely self-contained storyline, in which at least one character is killed off each episode in a surprising and graphic new way.

Christopher Gorham stars as Henry Dunn, the lovable boy next door and seemingly innocent groom to be. Fans of Ugly Betty will recognize their old friend Henry Grubstick, but Gorham is quick to caution that while his character on Harper’s Island may initially come off sweet and simple, he couldn’t be more different from Betty’s Grubstick. Gorham speaks to Interview about the highly secret series.

LUCY SILBERMAN: I feel like I should call you Henry.

CHRISTOPHER GORHAM: Actually, that’s all I answer to these days.
